Piano Tuning In Woolwich

Woolwich has changed dramatically in recent years, but it has always had a strong cultural thread running through it. From the industrial history of the Royal Arsenal to the growing arts scene along the riverside, it is now home to some of South East London’s most interesting performance spaces. I regularly tune and service pianos for venues such as Woolwich Works, and I have customers throughout the Royal Arsenal, the riverside developments, and up towards Shooters Hill.

My piano workshop is based near Woolwich in Thames-Side Studios, which means I am here much of the time and can often arrange appointments at relatively short notice. Many of the pianos I see locally range from uprights in new apartments to older family instruments that have been in place for decades. Each one requires a slightly different approach - some need steady maintenance to keep them stable, others benefit from more detailed servicing to restore clarity of tone and consistency of touch.

I provide tuning for both upright and grand pianos, alongside repairs, regulation, voicing, cleaning, and valuations. The aim is never simply to “get it in tune”, but to leave the instrument feeling reliable, balanced, and enjoyable to play. With over 15 years of experience working across concert venues, recording studios, schools, and private homes throughout London, I bring the same care to a domestic piano as I would to one used professionally.

If you are based in Woolwich or SE18 and would like to discuss your piano, I am always happy to offer straightforward advice about what it needs and how best to look after it.
