Enter your Yamaha piano’s serial number to find its year, place of manufacture, and age. Yamaha pianos sometimes have a prefix letter (J, T, etc.) followed by a number. If yours does, include it; if not, just enter the digits. If you have a U series upright (U1, U3 etc.) don't include the H prefix.
The serial number for Yamaha pianos is usually found underneath the music desk on grands, or at the top of the plate on uprights when you open the top lid.
