Enter your Boston piano’s serial number (with or without the leading “B”) to find its year of manufacture and age. Boston pianos are designed by Steinway & Sons, but production is outsourced to Kawai in Japan.
The serial number is located underneath the music desk on the plate in grand pianos, and on the top of the plate on upright pianos when you open the top lid.
