Greenwich is at the heart of my life. I live here and walk my dog in Greenwich Park. I also regularly tune and service pianos throughout SE10, from the grand townhouses in Gloucester Circus and Royal Hill, the new apartments by the river, and the Ashburnham Triangle. Recording studios, primary schools, and on occasion Trinity Laban. There are pianos everywhere in Greenwich! I have found it is an area with a long musical and cultural history, and many of the instruments here are well-loved, well-played, and worth maintaining properly.
The pianos I see in Greenwich range from family uprights that have been in place for decades to grand pianos used for serious study and performance. Some require steady, routine maintenance to keep them stable and reliable. Others benefit from more detailed regulation or tonal work to restore balance, clarity, and an even touch across the keyboard.
With over 15 years of experience working as a piano technician in concert venues, recording studios, universities, and private homes across London, I take a careful and considered approach to every instrument. Good piano work is not simply about tuning, it is about stability, responsiveness, and leaving the piano feeling settled and enjoyable to play.
If you would like to discuss your piano or are unsure what level of service it requires, I am always happy to offer straightforward advice.
