I am James Beckwith, a piano tuner/technician based in Greenwich in South-East London. With 15 years of professional experience, I tune, regulate, voice and repair pianos all over London in concert halls, recording studios, universities, schools, and private homes.
I have considerable experience in the various skills a piano technician needs such as piano tuning, regulation, servicing, repairs, and voicing. I used to work at Steinway & Sons, and maintain regular contact with the technicians there. I also service electric pianos such as Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Clavinet, and Yamaha CP70; and am a regularly performing jazz pianist and composer.
